The following files contain updated versions of the Springdale Housing Authority Admissions and Continued Occupancy Policy (ACOP) for Public Housing, Administrative Plan (ADMIN) for the Housing Choice Voucher Program (HCV), updated Utility Allowances and Flat Rents for Public Housing, and updated Utility Allowances and payment standards for the HCV Program.
In the updated ACOP and ADMIN you will find our original plans with added policy updates. Text highlighted in Yellow are policy updates and changes added after 2017. Text highlighted in Magenta are the newest regulations from the 2016 Housing Opportunity Through Modernization Act (HOTMA). HOTMA policies will not be effective until HUD releases a final implementation date for these regulation changes.
The Utility Allowances, Flat Rents, and Payment Standards will be effective October 1, 2024 pending Board of Commissioners approval. A 30-day comment period for all of these updates will be open from Monday, August 19, 2024 until Wednesday, September 18, 2024.
